Cabinet Finisher

As part of our recent growth, we are looking to expand our dynamic team, and we are looking for someone with a particular set of skills.
The Finisher will work in a fast-paced but casual environment and play a supporting role in ensuring customer satisfaction by producing quality work in an efficient manner.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Finish a wide range of items in order to complete projects on time while also ensuring a high level of quality and adhering to all safe job practices and procedures.
- Read, interpret, and verify paperwork for accuracy to execute finishing tasks efficiently.
- Visually inspect items to ensure quality of finished product will meet expectations.
- Mix ingredients to achieve specified colors/shades and match existing finishes accurately.
- Complete paperwork accurately
- Inform Shop Foreman and/or Shop Inspector of any projects that are not meeting either quality or time requirements.
- Setup and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with all safety practices and procedures.
- Perform daily maintenance and cleanup of work bench and designated areas.
- Perform weekly scheduled inspections and maintenance checklist on designated equipment.
- Request equipment and supplies required to complete necessary tasks as they are identified.
**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED**:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Thorough knowledge of standard methods, equipment, materials, and practices in the cabinet finishing trade.
- Ability to mix ingredients to obtain specified color/shade and match existing finishes.
- Strong math skills, enabling precise measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with cabinet manufacturing processes and finishing requirements.
- Quick learner with the ability to think logically and understand abstract relationships.
- Proficient in project planning and management to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to collaborate with others and operate equipment using various processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
- Able to work consistently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong record-keeping skills to document project progress and materials usage accurately.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing effectively to group objectives.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
