ASCO Restoration’s Estimator-Project Manager provides and is responsible for the overall estimating, planning, organization, direction, and control of each insurance restoration project assigned to him/her. He/she is also responsible to lead and manage a team of qualified restoration technicians, carpenters, and laborer's to perform emergency property mitigation services following a natural catastrophe caused by fire, water, wind, and the likes. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Some of the Estimator-Project Manager responsibilities include:

- Post disaster attendance at client’s property to record and assess property damages and oversee the emergency mitigation services.
- Preparing detailed cost estimate for emergency and reconstruction services using industry recognized cost estimating and project management software (Xactimate, XACT analysis)
- Ensuring excellent customer service by delivering quality project on agreed upon deadlines.
- Ensuring that each project is delivered safely & on budget.
- Maintaining regular contact with customers and insurance adjusters keeping them appraised of the progress of the project and providing them with a look ahead on work to come.

**Qualifications**
- Excellent knowledge of residential construction & renovation process, material, and market.
- Good knowledge of National and/or Ontario Building Code
- Minimum of five (5) years work experience in the capacity of estimator or project manager for an insurance restoration or construction company.
- IICRC certification in water and fire damage and Applied Structural Drying an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once and deal with stressful situations.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
- Very good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Work, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate, converse and write in both the French and English language.

**Requirements**:

- Must hold a valid driver license and satisfactory driving record.
- This position must be available to participate to the Company’s rotational schedule for after-hours customer service calls.
