Our NOVONIX Battery Technology Solutions division, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, focuses on innovative battery research and development, along with providing advanced battery testing equipment and services on a global scale. In Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA, our Anode Materials division manufactures our synthetic graphite anode materials used to make lithium-ion batteries which power electric vehicles, personal electronics, medical devices, energy storage units, and more.

**Role Summary**:
This person will report directly to the Cell Line Manager and will be responsible for assembling battery cells containing highly advanced materials, using a variety of semi-automated equipment to support lithium-ion battery research work for Novonix and our international customers. The work is done in a climate-controlled environment to ensure we’re making high quality products. In the role of Cell Technician - Dry Room, you will be joining a world-class R&D Services team that is delivering innovative solutions to tough problems.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Preparing electrodes
- Using a variety of equipment for welding battery components
- Using semi-automated equipment for assembling batteries
- Organizing of battery materials and work in process
- Measuring and recording in-process battery assembly related quality information
- Working closely with researchers on various internal and customer driven projects
- Documentation of cell making procedures
- Documentation of cell building records

Pay: $38,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
