We offer Taekwondo, Parkour, Acrobatics and Kickboxing programs for kids and adults.

**Job description**
Ryouko Martial Arts Durham is a well-known fast growing martial arts school. Looking for a head instructor/manager to help maintain growth and work with the existing team.

**Compensation**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $42,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday - Friday 1pm - 9pm

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate and instruct exciting and athletic taekwondo classes
- Educate, motivate, and coach students at the studio and in competition
- Manage and motivate team members to help plan, prepare, and work towards targets set by management
- Enforce studio rules and policies set to be followed by all staff and students
- Plan and conduct camps for summer, march and winter breaks
- Transport and supervise children for our afterschool program
- Ability to manage and train other instructors and handle a class of about 30 students
- Prepares presentation materials, reports, forms, letters, etc. utilizing layout, formatting and keyboarding skills using computer
- Professional and Friendly Response to inquiries made in person, by telephone or in writing
- Ability to do calculations such as partial refunds, pro rates, and membership upgrades
- Maintains manual and computerized filling and retrieval systems for records/documents, including file correspondence, records, reports, inventory data and manuals
- Drafts standard letters and memoranda, maintains files, prints and distributes materials, photocopies documents
- Collects, sorts, date stamps, distributes, prepares and processes forms and documents, including mail, fax, statements, invoices, reports, vouchers, cheque requisitions, cash, and receipts
- Coordinates trial lesson and appointment bookings and converts prospects to members
- Monitors, orders and maintains supplies/resource materials for the studio
- Easily approach parents to discuss membership account issues or market special events or camps being offered

**Key Qualifications**:

- Must have a minimum of 2nd dan black belt WT System
- Must have a G license
