About the Role:
What you’ll be doing:
- Create SEO vision, roadmap and strategy for G Adventures- Be the SEO evangelist for the organization, educate cross-functional teams on the benefits of integrating SEO in their existing processes- Develop and implement strategies to improve organic rankings, drive search traffic, and conversions across our core global markets- Monitor organic search performance, prioritize pages and content opportunities- Write compelling content briefs for internal copywriters and external partners- Work with the website team to identity technical and CRO improvement opportunities- Execute on-page optimization with respect to headings, page titles, descriptions, canonicals, URLs, internal link structures, etc- Monitor link profile and identify link-building opportunities- Partner with paid search team on keyword and competitor research- Set KPIs, produce dashboards to track performance- Work cross-functionally with other channels to share learnings and ideas- Build a culture for SEO Experimentation. Test, learn, implement & scale
Desired Skills & Experience:
- College or university degree in business, marketing, travel and tourism or a related field- 5+ years of experience in SEO on either the client or agency side- Strong understanding of search algorithms and rankings- Proven track record of improving organic search rankings, and driving revenue through SEO campaigns- Demonstrated ability to work well with other stakeholders including copywriters, web designers and web developers- Problem solver, ability to test and learn on your own, and stay on top of the latest SEO industry trends- Comfortable with a range of SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, ContentKing, Screaming Frogs etc) to track and measure performance- Previous experience identifying and managing external SEO agencies, consultants as required- Knowledge of international SEO best practices- Basic understanding of HTML, Javascript

- Experience with project management tools (we use Clickup)- Familiar with data visualization tools (we use Looker)
