**Rotation/Shifts**:
Days, evenings and nights, including weekends, 8 and 12 hour shifts.

**Basic Requirements**:

- Current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario;
- BScN;
- Three (3) to five (5) years of recent cardiac or related clinical experience;
- Previous managerial, leadership experience;
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills;
- Demonstrated decision making skills;
- Demonstrated clinical expertise related to cardiac patient care including the use of technical equipment related to patient care and administrative matters;
- Knowledge of principles of management;
- Knowledge of group dynamics, and principles of adult education;
- Knowledge of other health care disciplines;
- BCLS certificate;
- Must be eligible to work in Canada;
- Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).

Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French
- and English-speaking clients.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Member of Registered Nurses Association of Ontario;
- Masters in Nursing, Administration or Education;
- Canadian Nurse's Association Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing.
