**Salary**: The salary range for this position is CAD $38.07/Hr. - CAD $47.52/Hr. Summary: Position works in a team-based environment and is responsible for the supervision of designated staff and the coordination of daily program activities. Oversees the quality of technical work performed and participates in the instruction of staff and students in the use of technical equipment. Assesses performance and provides feedback as needed. Oversees the quality of technical work performed and participates in staff recruitment and orientation. Coordinates training activities for Electroneurophysiology students. Ensures that accreditation standards are maintained and that optimal contributions are made to deliver quality healthcare in a continuum of integrated care, and in an effective, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Performs technical procedures including electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potential (EP), electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS). Supervises at least one (1) other Electroneurophysiology Technologist or a total staff of up to and including seven (7) FTE.
**Qualifications / Skills and Education**: Education, Training, and Experience
Completion of a recognized Electroneurophysiology Technology program plus three years’ recent related experience, including one (1) year’s supervisory and leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Certification with the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists (CBRET).
Certification with the Board of Registration of Electromyography Technologists of Canada (BRETC) and/or the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET).
Must be certified in at least CBRET or BRETC/AAET to qualify for position. Full certification in both must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date.

Knowledge and practice of safe work procedures with the various Electroneurophysiology equipment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**: Supervises and coordinates the technical and staffing activities for assigned area by organising work assignments, setting priorities, providing technical guidance/advice, assisting with troubleshooting of equipment, and facilitating workplace solutions with other personnel. Consults with the medical staff and other technical team members as required ensuring services are performed in an effective, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
In collaboration with the Medical Director and Patient Care Manager, is responsible for the preparation and follow through of the Diagnostic Accreditation Program (DAP). Ensures the department is meeting the criteria for Accreditation and assists the Physician Lead, physicians, and staff during the Accreditation survey. Ensures that follow-up recommendations are addressed once the accreditation report is received and any outstanding recommendations from the DAP team are responded to prior to subsequent surveys.
Positions patients for technical work and explains procedure(s), correlating clinical history with examination. Performs technical work such as, conducting and recording Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), Evoked Potentials (EP), Electromyography (EMG) and Electroencephalography (EEG) tests, by operating a variety of equipment, adjusting equipment during test process, observing monitor, taking appropriate measurements from test data produced and entering calculated results into computer to demonstrate whether abnormalities exist. Monitors patient during procedures and responds to emergent situations in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Responds to inquiries from other clinical areas regarding patient examinations and schedules and refers other concerns to appropriate supervisor as required.
