We are looking for a Scalehouse Administrator at our Walker Compost Facility in Arthur, ON for a twelve (12) month contract. This is a day shift position, which runs Monday-Friday, 6 am-2:30 pm. The starting rate for this role is $22.00/hour.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Enter details of loads and materials into Microsoft Excel and Oracle, including details about physical properties. Use these details to generate basic reports.
- Work with the site’s PCscale program and load scans to weigh and document loads entering the site.
- Daily communications with loader operators and shift supervisors on material loads.
- Compliance with the Walker Safety Management System & Superior Safety Culture including all H&S Policies.
- The position will require that a significant portion of time be spent outdoors to assist with receiving activities, including observing unloading of materials, Quality Assistance and Control Activities, such as performing moisture tests on materials and collecting material samples.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum high school graduation, or equivalent level of education.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Excellent customer service including courtesy, tact and diplomacy.
- Good communication skills.
- Capacity to follow directives and fulfill requests.
