**Responsibilities**
- Physical reception of materials into (may include unloading of transport trucks using forklifts and/or hand jiggers)
- Verification of documentation/paperwork accompanying received materials i.e. packing slips, bill of lading, invoice copies etc.
- Storing/placing materials in appropriate and/or designated spacing in warehouse with proper racking location.
- Fulfillment of material requests from operations as required, either planned / staged or on an “as needed” basis.
- Updating system with transactions of expedited materials by part number, project number, employee number etc.
- Inventory cycle counts as required on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
- Full 100% physical inventory as required.
- Inventory reporting as requested by superior.
- Regularly verify inventory breaches and report to superior.
- Always maintain warehouse cleanliness and order including, but not limited to, sweeping, dusting, wiping, moving clutter, garbage disposal, recycling.
- Unloading of transport trucks as well as maintaining order and ensuring material placement in associated yards i.e. conduit reels, GLB’s, Vaults etc.
- Storing and issuance of field equipment i.e. shovels, wheelbarrows, snow fences, signalization equipment, steel plates, plywood sheets etc.
- Assist Operations in the loading of conduit and /or fiber reels onto their reel trailers or other apt vehicles.
- Building Maintenance (Snow Removal, salting icy sections on outside walkways and yard, emptying ashtrays etc.)

**Requirements**:

- High School or equivalent
- Some experience in warehouse environment
- Ability to communicate well
- Great attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable with strong work ethic
- Must be a self-starter with proven experience in working independently
