Cannabis Sales Associate

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers, check ID's, and provide them with a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers in finding products and provide them with product knowledge of the various different types of cannabis products, strains, and accessories
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions while participating in regular product training
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Meet or exceed sales goals on a regular basis
- Make deliveries while adhering to all rules and regulations (G2 or G class license is required to be eligible for deliveries)
- Ability to multi-task, i.e. assisting in daily inventory checks, keeping the sales floor clean, organized, and stocked, processing transactions etc.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and policies related to the sale and distribution of cannabis products while following all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe, secure, and compliant workplace

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, stand for long hours and lift up to 30lbs
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Bonus - Social Media Proficiency

**Requirements**:

- Pay per hour will be based on experience
- Must be at least 19 years of age (as per Ontario requirements) (required)
- Cansell Certificate (required)
- Relevant experience - two years min. (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Personal vehicle with a G2 or G class license (preferred)
- Adherence to company dress code policy - professional, clean, and hygienic (required)

**Salary**: $16.55-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 21 per week
