3rd-4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman Machinist

We have an immediate opening for CNC Machinist at Lyncorp Manufacturing Ltd.; a modern 63,000 sq. ft. fabrication facility located at Aldersyde, AB

**Specific Responsibilities**
- Set up and operate various machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and saws to machine to precise customer specifications.
- Knowledge of both CNC & manual equipment, and previous experience with CNC Router and Laser Table is an asset.
- Use measurement tools to ensure the accuracy of the manufactured part.
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances. Able to prepare working sketches if necessary.
- Measure and mark metal and other materials.
- Fit parts to mechanisms and verify dimensions.

**About You**:

- Previous experience assembling, fitting and installing prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished heavy mobile equipment is an asset.
- Some mechanical fitting trade knowledge is an asset but not essential.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Team player
