**Position Summary**:
The Pipefitter Supervisor evaluates, directs and executes the layout, assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems.
**Responsibilities**:
- Communicate work plans/instructions, allocate work, and craft task schedules (e.g., weekly, biweekly, monthly)
- Supervise, lead, train, and manage allotted manpower
- Read/interpret drawings and specifications to understand the scope of work
- Install and maintain piping and associated systems adhering to acts and regulations to company standards
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures, to minimize downtime and maintenance costs, and manage equipment efficiencies
- Operating accessory equipment for pipe fitting (pipe beveling, pipe threading, pipe cutting, torch or plasma cutter, drill press)
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal pipe, valves, and fittings.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- H2S Alive
- Confined Space Entry and/or Rescue
- CSTS 09
- Understanding of control systems is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situation
- CWB Certified is an asset
- Possession of a Pipefitter/Steamfitter Certificate of Qualification (307A), journeyperson status, and/or Red Seal Endorsement is an asset.
