**Overall Mandate**:
It is the responsibility of the Warehouse Coordinator to manage inventory of incoming and outgoing fruit, products, and supplies through the use of FAMOUS software by using appropriate documentation at all times. The Warehouse Coordinator will organize the timely receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials to production and the loading and dispatch of the finished product at the Norfolk Fruit Growers’ Association and Norfolk Cherry Company.

**Leadership**:

- Ensure that all operators and staff are working to meet shipping targets efficiently and with a strong focus on performance and quality. Ensure all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality, and quality.

**Communication**:

- Open communication with the Production Supervisor regarding shipping volumes and priorities are also key. Communicate warehouse storage flow of stored, packed product and supplies for daily production. The Warehouse Coordinator is expected to communicate effectively with other management, production staff, and Vineland growers Sales/Logistics staff as needed.

**Organization**:

- The Warehouse Coordinator understands what is required to implement and maintain policies and processes that are nimble, efficient, responsive to need, and understandable by all stakeholders. This includes implementing processes under direction and providing feedback on efficiency and workability in the organization, and developing processes that are straightforward to be maintained by direct reports in the organization.

**Problem Solving**:

- Troubleshooting any issues that may arise with outgoing shipments along with monitoring the outgoing product for quality and freshness and accurate packaging, and identifying and preventing errors and communicating these issues to the Production Supervisor. The individual in this position will also assist in managing the FIFO inventory system.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of forklift drivers to prioritize and complete tasks throughout the workday.
- Plays an important role in our product traceability system by receiving and verifying incoming shipments and deliveries.
- Ensuring the products are accurately entered into inventory and tagged, as well as coordinating with the Production Administration team to maintain inventory levels of certain supplies.
- Using FAMOUS software to coordinate inventory of incoming and outgoing fruit, products, and supplies using appropriate documentation at all times. This will involve, but is not limited to, preparing:

- Packing slips
- Bills of lading
- Purchase orders
- Receiving entries
- Efficiently meeting the customer shipping schedule and satisfying the requested ship dates, troubleshooting any issues that may arise through clear communication with Vineland Sales and Logistics.
- Coordinating and receiving incoming shipments and deliveries, making sure they are accurately entered into inventory and tagged using our FAMOUS software.
- Coordinating with forklift drivers to prioritize and complete tasks throughout the workday.

- Communicate shipping volumes and priorities closely with the Packline Supervisor and 3rd party warehouses to optimize available resources.
- Coordinate the movement of supplies and inventory between plants and 3rd party warehouses and packing facilities.
- Play an important role in our product traceability system.
- Maintain inventory levels of certain supplies by tracking product locations and inventory levels and proactively reordering inventory to ensure availability when required.
- Ensuring accurate rotation of product i.e. first in first out.

**Accountability**:
This individual will support all staff to contribute to the effectiveness of the food safety management system and will participate in all required training, as it pertains to this position, including food safety training, and Employee Handbook awareness. The Warehouse Coordinator will also participate in validation and verification activities of the Food Safety Management system, where required.

**Education and Experience**:

- 3-5 years Warehouse/Dock leadership experience
- Previous Forklift Truck driving experience required.
- Excellent communications skills; both written and oral.
- Must be competent with numbers and be able to demonstrate a high degree of computer literacy.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a unionized environment.
