**Valo** is an experienced Telecommunications company providing professional services throughout western Canada.

Our Telecommunications team is growing, and we are looking for competent, dedicated, and experienced Driller / Locators, focused on supporting the delivery of quality network services to our customers in the **Red Deer region.**

This position will be involved both project and operational activities. Our team operates on the ability to provide cross-functional training, so we are seeking forward-thinking staff that is open to cross-training in the Telecommunication environment.

**What You Will Need**:

- Directional drilling/locator experience in telecom construction or similar
- Basic knowledge of telecom and fiber optic installation
- ** Experience with Ditch Witch and Vermeer machines.**:

- Experience in small tool operation, and cable placement
- Interpretation of plans, diagrams, and locates
- Communicate with team members on preparation and project coordination
- The ability to operate in all weather conditions
- Willing to work long hours and travel when required
- Safety-conscious work ethic
- Willingness to assist the team in any capacity is a major asset

**SHIFT INFORMATION**:

- Up to 10-hour working day
- 11 days on 3 days off rotation
