The Detox Centre of Manitoba is looking to hire a General Manage on a full-time permanent basis.

Our clients are at the heart of what we do. The General Manager of The Detox Centre of Manitoba is accountable for creating an environment in the clinic that exemplifies purpose, values, and client promise. This is a health care professional senior role with experience in a private clinic/rehab setting is an asset. Further, this role is crucial in the development of team members by effectively coaching, mentoring, and engaging clinical and non-clinical team members, while also building and deepening partnerships in the community that result in business growth. The General Manager leads the clinic in delivering outstanding client experience, executing effective and efficient clinical programs, and ensuring successful attainment of clinical excellence and associated business outcomes, effective leadership is the key to success in delivering this mandate.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervising the work of all staff members such as: counsellors, operations manager, maintenance, subcontractors, kitchen staff, housekeeping, site security and administration staff.
- Implementing policy and procedures for all departments:

- Detox
- Rehabilitation
- Development and implementation of new programs designed to improve patient outcomes or reduce costs.
- Enhance customer and vendor relationships.
- Deliver Clinic goals that align with key shareholder assets.
- Monitor client care and outcomes through file reviews with clinical team and review clinical practice indicators: ensure compliance with client data collection.
- Provide strong leadership through effective people management and engagement of activities that create an environment which draws and retains high performing talent.
- Well organized, and able to function independently with sound written and verbal communication and multi-tasking skills.
- Be willing to further your skills through additional training.
- Report to Shareholders

**Requirements**:

- Experience managing a Detox or Rehab facility is an asset.
- Management experience required.
- Post-Secondary Education is required.
- Strong Leadership and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time and resources. Your skill set includes superior ability to meet goals and targets, effective conflict resolution, strong planning and project management and the ability to balance competing priorities.
- Overall commitment to the quality of patient care as well as customer service
- You are an experienced leader, coach, and mentor with a track record of developing strong teams focused on quality customer service.
- You demonstrate a commitment to professional development and your computer skills are well developed.
- Valid (class G) drivers license, Reliable and insurable vehicle.

Compensation will be based on education and experience.
