Andy Transport is currently looking for Company Drivers to join the Andy family for local work. This position is responsible for the pickup, transportation, and delivery of goods within a dry van trailer.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform pick-ups and deliveries in GMA, Trois-Rivieres, Sherbrooke, and Gatineau.
- Perform trip inspections on equipment operated and load, ensuring safety and roadworthiness.
- Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver's hours of service, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
- Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
- Record and maintain required documentation including driver logbook, bills of lading, etc. by manual or electronic means.
- Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in written form.
- Deliver product and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner.
- Provide feedback to supervisor regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems.
- Maintain trucks overall service and perform required inspections.
- Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. May include, but not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Hold a valid Class 1 License
- Day Shift - starting time between 6 and 8 AM
- Clean Driving Abstract (Recently Issued - 3 Months)
- Clean Canadian Criminal Record (Recently Issued - 3 Months)
- Valid Passport
- Dependable and punctual
- Fluent in French and/or English

Description du poste:

- Effectuer des cueillettes et des livraisons dans la région du Grand Montréal, à Trois-Rivières, Sherbrooke et à Gatineau.
- Effectuer des inspections de voyage sur l’équipement utilisé et la charge, en assurant la sécurité et le contrôle technique.
- Se conformer à la législation en vigueur, y compris la sécurité d’exploitation, le transport de marchandises, les heures de service du conducteur, la santé et la sécurité au travail, le transport de marchandises dangereuses.
- Signaler les défauts du véhicule, les accidents, les infractions au code de la route, ou les dommages causés aux véhicules.
- Vérifier toute la documentation liée à la charge afin de s’assurer qu’elle est complète et exacte.
- Enregistrer et préserver la documentation requise, y compris le journal du bord du conducteur, les connaissements, etc. par des moyens manuels ou électroniques.
- Communiquer efficacement avec le public, les clients et les collègues à la fois verbalement et par écrit.
- Livrer le produit et les documents appropriés à nos clients d’une manière courtoise et en temps opportun.
- Fournir une rétroaction au superviseur concernant les problèmes des clients, les problèmes mécaniques ou les problèmes de livraison.
- Maintenir le service général des camions et effectuer les inspections requises.
- Remplir tous les documents nécessaires à la fin du quart de travail. Peut inclure, mais sans s’y limiter, les journaux quotidiens, les journaux d’inspection, les reçus de livraison, l’inspection du véhicule, etc.

Exigences:

- Détenir un permis de conduire Classe 1 valide
- Quart de jour - heure de début entre 6h et 8h du matin
- Dossier de conduite sans sanctions (récemment délivré- 3 mois)
- Casier judiciaire canadien sans antécédents (récemment délivré - 3 mois)
- Passeport valide
- Capacité de conduire sur tous les terrains
- Fiable et ponctuel
- Bonne maîtrise du français et/ou de l’anglais
