**About the role**

We’re looking for a Unit Claims Manager (Auto CSC) to join our growing team

This full time/permanent opportunity can be based in Calgary or Edmonton.

What you’ll do here:

- Drive results by implementing appropriate performance expectations and management through effectively coaching and mentoring employees
- Provide leadership and manage the operations to achieve key business goals including communicating corporate vision, and values.
- Develop and recommend organizational initiatives to support company strategies including changes to process or technology improvements.
- Audit staff files and calls to provide feedback and/or training as determined. When required, establish controls based on audit findings.
- Provide effective leadership by continuously keeping staff informed of changes or new directions and share responsibility for the overall productivity and engagement of team members.
- Contributes to the achievement of corporate and regional objectives by measuring team performance, ensuring quality of claims handling, level of compliance with standards, procedures and productivity.
- Ensure that corporate policies, claims standards, and procedures are being followed.

What you bring to the table:

- Minimum 1 year of corporate management experience or 2 years of insurance experience
- Strong leadership skills including the ability to motivate, coach, and engage staff
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of staff.
