The VP, Information Technology (IT) is responsible for the vision, strategy, planning, and management of IT services and solutions, and implementing new solutions to support the business strategies of Joseph Ribkoff Inc.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provides leadership and management of the organization's information technology services.
- Provides strategic vision, tactical planning, evaluation, design, development and implementation of technology to align with and support business objectives while maintaining day-to-day operations, best solutions and ensuring a clear pathway for managed growth.
- Demonstrates leadership, guidance, and mentorship to IT team, including external IT consultants, contractors and vendors to foster a high performing team environment.
- Plans, directs, and controls all systems and operational activities of the IT Department including the day-to-day operations of Help Desk, Desktop, Infrastructure, Application, and Network Operations.
- Drives the strategic IT architectural evolution and associated modernization including the delivery of multiple initiatives including, but not limited to: ERP, Digital technologies including Commerce and Customer Relationship Management, Employee productivity tools.
- Plans and controls IT operating and capital budgets, conducts cost and productivity analyses, and determines technology priorities to optimize IT investments and enable a cost-effective reliable and flexible technology environment.
- Approves and recommends IT hardware and software solutions in conjunction with the strategic and organizational priorities.
- Protects the company from any potential IT security vulnerabilities by securing the data from internal and external attacks.
- Complete the implementation of our current D365 ERP system and new solutions for Production and forecasting tools
- Works closely with various departments to prioritize and optimize IT services to support their business activities.
- Manages comprehensive and effective IT business continuity plans, disaster recovery plans, security and ensures appropriate documentation and IT processes are in place.
- Maintains strong knowledge base of industry trends and emerging technologies.

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline required, with a professional IT designation (e.g. Information Systems Professional, Information Technology Certified Professional).
- Project Management (PMI), TOGAF and ITIL certification is considered an asset.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a Senior Role.
- Strong history and experience in developing and delivering IT strategies, governance, service management, organizational management, vendor management and operating models.
- Experience in implementing successful, innovative IT solutions that link current and emerging stakeholder requirements with business strategies.
- Excellent IT industry awareness - emerging technologies, leading practices, major issues.
- Strong project management skills, demand management experience, proven ability to ensure accuracy and rigor in time, cost and quality related to deliverables for stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership/management abilities, including supportive team building, empowerment, timely decision making, and willingness to roll up your sleeves to help the team when needed.
- Microsoft D365 experience is an asset
