**This role will do local linehaul of trailer & b-train combos between our Vaughan & Kitchener Distribution Centres and our branches in Burlington and Niagara Falls on an afternoon shift (starting at 1pm for 10-12 hours).**

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Perform truck safety check, alerting supervisor to any concerns
- Make inter-branch deliveries, switching trailers/b-trains for backhaul
- Make all requested deliveries/pick ups, unload transfers/returns off the truck
- From time to time may un/load truck by them self and ensure load is secure prior to starting run
- Provide excellent customer service

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Valid AZ license with a clean driving record for the past three years (no infractions for speeding, DWI, or other major occurrences)
- Ability to work overtime as required to complete a delivery or pick-up
- Ability to work in a productive manner with little supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to customer service with the ability to work in a team environment to achieve both company and personal success
- Ability to analyze the importance of situations and respond appropriately.
- Ability to deal with situations quickly and calmly under emergency conditions
- Physically agile in order to lift, carry and move large and awkward items (up to 100 lbs)
