We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. As a Bakery Assistant, you will assist in the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods. **Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the preparation and production of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters
- Package finished products for display or delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their bakery needs
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating quantities
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
