Recertification Technician

**GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Identify parts or components that should be rejected or recertified
- Clean components
- Track part numbers and document recertification
- Paint new and/or recertified components
- Receive instructions from Production Manager or assigned designate for each specific recertification job
- Attend to work area to keep it clean and tidy and to remove any obstacles that could present a hazard
- Maintain all equipment and tools used in a clean and good working condition
- Assist in replenishing stock and supplies as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Basic Requirements**:

- Ability to commence full-time (40 hours/week) work from the beginning of May until the end of August
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle competing priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work well alone or in a team setting
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) is considered an asset
- Possess a positive and professional attitude, set a high standard, and convey professionalism at all times

Note: The **Recertification Technician - Summer Student** position is deemed a safety-sensitive position and applicant must successfully complete a pre-employment drug & alcohol test as a condition of employment. This position will require work boots that meet the minimum position standards.
