**Job description**
- grading and earthworks foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of crews in the Leduc, AB area.
- provide leadership, training and overall safety while executing work to accommodate the productivity timelines.
- submit various reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) to management.
- promote a positive and encouraging work environment.
- conduct pre-hazard assessment prior to commencing work, as well as incident investigations.
- work and communicate with management.
- attend daily and weekly meetings with management.

**Requirements**:

- 3 plus years experience in the civil construction industry
- proficient in all aspects of earthworks including subdivision grading and roadbuilding operations.
- proficiency in understanding the operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various types of heavy equipment.
- promote and lead a safe work culture ensuring all members are working in safe conditions following all safety and environmental site policies.
- the ability to conduct daily and weekly safety meetings as well the ability to adjust with scheduling.
- in depth knowledge of construction procedures including the understanding and adherence to specifications, OH&S and Broda Group's polies and procedures.

Education
- Civil or Construction Engineering Technology considered an asset.
- Safety Tickets ( LSE, Ground Disturbance, First Aid, etc..)
