Holistic Wellness Therapies is looking for a psychometrist to join our team. We are a small, and busy, clinic located in Orleans, ON. This is an independent contractor position with payment ranging $50-95/hour depending on experience.

**Duties**:

- Provide cognitive and psychodiagnostic assessment services (i.e., clinical interviewing, standardized test selection/administration/scoring/interpretation, report writing, provision of assessment feedback), in accordance with Regulations, Standards of Professional Conduct, under the clinical supervision of a Registered Psychologist.
- Understand and properly use all HWT-related assessment processes, including but not limited to, processes related to reserving assessment tools, requesting testing measures through administrative staff, informing administrative staff about invoice items for billing purposes, etc.
- Maintain knowledge, skills and abilities by keeping up to date regarding professional standards through reviewing current literature, attending workshops/seminars, networking and consultation with colleagues.
- Work in a manner that is in compliance with staff and patient/client safety practices, policies and procedures at HWT.
- Meet with Registered Psychologist supervisor on a basis agreed upon by the supervisor and supervisee and in line with standards of the College of Psychologists of Ontario

Qualifications:

- Masters in Clinical Psychology, with appropriate clinical training.
- Knowledge of psychometric tests and assessment procedures appropriate for use with children, adolescents and adults.
- Experience needed in Administering/Scoring the following assessment measures: WAIS-IV; WISC-5; WIAT-III; WRAML-2; Beery VMI; and, CTOPP-2.
- Experience Preferred in Administering/Scoring: Conners-3/CAARS; D-KEFS; Structured Interviews (MINI, MINIKID, KSADS, SCID-5); PAI; TOWL-4.
- Satisfactory Police Records Check for the vulnerable sector.
- Ability to work actively and collaboratively with supervisor and team members.
- Ability to conduct assessments with persons with varying levels of cognitive ability.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation (Mental Health Act, Substitute Decisions Act, CCC, CSA) impacting on practice.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with clients, family and other caregivers.
- English level A- is mandatory in oral expression, oral comprehension, reading comprehension and written expression.
- Bilingualism is considered a strong asset.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

**Salary**: $50.00-$90.00 per hour
