Mural Painter

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces by properly cleaning, scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Use of electric power tools may be required in some situations.
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths, plastic, and/or designated brand of painters tape to protect surrounding areas
- Remove fixtures and furniture as necessary before painting
- Ensure proper ventilation in work areas
- Follow safety guidelines and wear protective gear as required

**Skills**:

- Fine Art / Visual Art
- Experience with residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting
- Proficiency in caulking and drywall repair
- Knowledge of painting techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Customer service skills to address client concerns and ensure satisfaction

**Requirements**:
Fine Art background with proven track record of success in painting murals, accent walls, and commissioned designs. Portfolio presentation required.

The quality of workmanship is expected to be ‘gallery ready’ for real estate photographs.

MUST have your own vehicle and be willing to transport materials including paint, brushes, rollers, tools, and step ladders. Proper vehicle protection will be provided.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $35.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
