Norellco Contractors is looking for a Project Manager / Estimator to join our team.

Norellco Contractors is an Edmonton-based company servicing heavy construction from small to large projects. Our underground division has a strong reputation for successfully installing shallow and deep water, storm and sewer facilities in highly developed urban areas, and repairing existing infrastructure. Our earthworks division completes projects ranging from road grading and dry ponds to erosion protection and landslide repairs. Our typical projects can be located anywhere from Grande Cache to Bonnyville, from Camrose to Peace River.

**Job Profile**:

- Liaise with clients and stakeholders before, during, and after construction.
- Write project execution documents, including traffic accommodation plans (TAS) and environmental construction operations (ECO) plans.
- Arrange city work permits, utility crossing agreements, and locates.
- Procure and coordinate project materials, subcontractors, and third party services.
- Track in-field work, both for internal costing and external billing.
- Estimate potential work, from review of tender documents, pricing of crews, materials and subcontractors, and writing bid packages.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand construction contracts, blueprints, and specifications.
- Computer skills in Microsoft office programs (word, excel, outlook, project).
- Capable of handling high stress scenarios.
- Periodic extended work hours might be required.

**Beneficial Experience**:

- 5+ years of experience in underground or earthwork construction or related fields.
- A related post-secondary degree or designation will be considered an asset.
- Must have a valid driver’s licence

Compensation will be matched to level of experience and qualifications.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
