Job description

Support clients and their daily activities at a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. Assist clients in meeting their goals by providing services such as outings, shopping, recreational and therapeutic well being while helping with their physical and mental needs.

Attain a full and working understanding of policies and procedures.

Facilitate program activities

Client intake / outtake

Manage valuables and money

Transporting clients.

Planning and facilitating events

Accompaniment on therapeutic outings

Client shopping

Assist with client medications

Maintain a positive work environment

Understand and follow client confidentiality guidelines

Understand and follow the Staff Code of Ethics

Respectful and friendly while promoting therapeutic relationships

From time of hire, a mandatory three month probation period will be in effect. Must be available for shift work and weekends. Please forward cover letter and resume to: Administrator.

Preferred education / experience
- Diploma/Certificate
- Experience working with vulnerable persons
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check-Vulnerable Sector Check

Required licenses or certifications:

- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must have a valid driver's license

**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
