Currently, Bruce Power currently has various opportunities available for an FLM, Maintenance within our Equipment Performance Division and Site Services Division.

On a shift or day basis, this role leads a team of maintenance personnel, contract staff and/or project/material management with oversight to correct work habits of personnel. You are responsible for the safe, effective execution of the work in accordance with approved procedures by acting as coach, facilitator, and supervisor, creating and sustaining a cooperative and supportive team environment. Core work includes developing recommendations for improvement in Maintenance plans and procedures, tools and techniques. While observing the maintenance function to ensure adherence to safety practices and work methods, provide effective support to the Manager in the planning, organization, administration, scheduling and execution of short and long term maintenance programs/unit outages. You will provide support and assistance to the Manager by making recommendations and developing Maintenance training, strategies, processes, and plans.

More than one (1) may be required to support various areas such as:
- Site Services: Civil: Dosimetry, Safety, Civil & Business Improvement supports power generation by providing key services to the entire site. We provide dosimetry services, maintain facilities, roads, and site landscaping. Snow removal, excavation and trenching, sign shop and custodial services are also some of our responsibilities.- Assessing: To ensure the creation of a quality, executable work package, for successful delivery of the work plans for online, outage, MCR and projects, priority work and backlogs.- Reactor Maintenance: Managing safe, reliable and efficient maintenance for online, outage, MCR and projects across site.- Central Maintenance: Encompasses Breakers, Starters, Calibration lab, or CCTV FLM or WGC.

- Personal EffectivenessSkills & Knowledge- Knowledge of the standards and practices for the Conduct of Maintenance- Extensive knowledge of maintenance procedures- Leadership, management and observational skills- Requires knowledge of control, mechanical or civil technology sufficient to understand the assembly, function, operations and mechanics of applicable equipment, systems, and materials- Requires on-the-job experience, such as might be gained in a power plant, refinery or chemical plant, associated with the installation, operation and maintenance of same to become thoroughly familiar with assembly processes, testing and trouble-shooting procedures and maintenance, modification and repair techniques- Requires familiarity with the use of manufacturers' equipment manuals and specifications to understand the operating characteristics of equipment and systems- Requires maintenance experience to efficiently handle unplanned trouble-shooting activities through effective utilization of existing resources- Requires sound practical experience to understand, coach and influence mixed services personnel through the
