Shipping & Receiving Clerk

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Providing exceptional member service with a positive, professional approach and attitude toward customers
- Assisting in loading/unloading freight and stocking shelves as needed
- Reviewing shipments to ensure correct freight has been delivered
- Checking invoices to ensure products and quantities are correct
- Maintaining inventory levels and placing orders accordingly
- Processing paperwork and warranty claims
- Operating and maintaining all equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
- Being responsible for proper storage of a variety of products
- Maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times
- Adhering to all Evergreen Cooperative Association policies and procedures and participate in the Health and Safety program
- Organizational skills and great time management
- Ability to work independently in a team environment
- Positive, professional approach and attitude toward work, strong interpersonal skills
- Previous retail experience would be an asset
- Previous receiving experience would be an asset
- Working knowledge of hardware, home centre, farm/agricultural products and building supplies is an asset
- Ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service
- Sense of urgency
