**Maintenance Person**

Days Inn is currently hiring for a Maintenance Person to help manage the general maintenance and curb appeal of the Hotel. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who enjoys being hands-on and helping customers. Does this sound like you Join us

**What we’re looking for**

As the Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of the property. We are looking for someone who knows how to use a variety of tools, and is not afraid to get dirty. This is a physical job and requires someone who can perform a variety of tasks unsupervised. As a hotel is open 24 hours, we need someone who can come in immediately if a problem arises.

**Job Duties**:
Ensure the Hotel is in Good Repair at all times.
- Clean common areas and entrance ways inside and outside of the building and ensure all garbage cans are kept clean and tidy to ensure they are presentable for each guest arrival.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
- Perform general maintenance around building including painting, repair, light duty plumbing and electrical needs. Assist with any other needs as requested by management
- Maintain a knowledge of all HVAC systems and recommend maintenance when necessary.
- Ensure that all building systems are in good working order, act timely to repair and resolve any issues. Report any major issues to the General Manager
- Ensure parking lot and Lawns are maintained on a daily basis.
- Other duties as assigned by management

**Experience**:
**High school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 1 year of related experience is required. Previous Hotel property maintenance experience is preferred.**

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-32 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
