**Your days will include**:

- Ensuring all movements are captured in MetaFarms and Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) accounting system
- Weekly invoicing of sales according to legal agreements
- Compiling and distributing weekly reports on hog production and performance
- Communicating with internal and external producers and responding to inquiries
- Preparing monthly reporting for review and analysis
- Reconciling General Ledger accounts
- Other duties as assigned

**To succeed in this role, you must possess**:

- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Previous experience working in a computerized office environment with different software and databases.
- Proficient experience with MS Office - Advanced Excel
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with pressures of daily & monthly deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- 5 + years prior accounting experience
- Business admin diploma/degree an asset
