**What can I expect in this role?**

**Core Responsibilities Include**:

- Prep custom welded assemblies by blasting, sanding, grinding and prime for finishing spray in the shop at 406 Harmony Rd, Ayr Ontario
- Finish spray parts using gun and brush as necessary to meet quality standards.
- Knowledge of safe work practices
- Responsible for final finish of sprayed parts ready for packing/shipping to customer.

**Activities Include**:

- Report quality issues and work with fabrication to resolve deficiencies as required.
- Mask and prepare various size parts for finishing spray.
- Communicate with carbon steel shop to understand schedule and delivery requirements.
- Calculate amounts of required materials and estimate costs, based on surface measurements or work orders.
- Clean paint tools and equipment.

**Role Information**:

- **NIGHT SHIFT: Hours of Work will be 6 pm-6am from Sunday night to Thursday morning.**_
- Report to the shop foreman and/or lead hand

**How do I qualify?**

**Hard Skills**:

- Industrial Painting Experience in a Metal Fabrication Environments (2-4 years)
- Driver’s License (note public transit is not available)
- Ability to take accurate measurements

**Soft Skills**:

- Attention to detail
- Teamwork
- Driven towards continuous improvement of paint techniques.

This is a Full-time Permanent Position. Hours of work consist of 44 hours/week. Pay is based on experience and ability. The pay range is $23.50-26.50/hour plus a $3.00/hour shift premium for working nights.
