**BEACHFRONT WASHROOM ATTENDANTS**

**2023 SUMMER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY**

**The Town of Wasaga Beach** is seeking four energetic, self-motivated individuals to submit resumes for summer seasonal employment (approximately 18 weeks full-time from May until

September 2023) for the position of **Beachfront Washroom Attendant.**

Responsibilities include building maintenance as well as cleaning and disinfecting municipal beachfront washrooms and other Town owned facilities throughout the busy tourist season.

It should be noted that the Town’s facility department may be posting for permanent part-time and full-time positions later in 2023.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have public relations & communication skills;
- Ability to work day and evening shifts, predominantly on weekends and statutory holidays;
- Be physically capable of performing the duties of the position with ability for heavy lifting and withstand hot and cold weather conditions;
- Possess valid First Aid and CPR certificates preferably or have the ability to be trained;
- Valid Class “G2” Ontario drivers’ license preferred;
- Able to provide an appropriate criminal records check and drivers’ abstract upon hire;
- Possess knowledge of the Town of Wasaga Beach;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

**Hourly Range: $19.69-$20.76; 40 hours/week**

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $19.69-$20.76 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wasaga Beach, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
