**We are looking for a Health Consultant/Naturopath**

The Purple Dragonfly Trading Post offers health advice, products and services to improve your overall health and wellness with a qualified and motivated team. We are looking for a natural health products and superfoods consultant or a naturopath who has the knowledge to help our customers.

This position is perfect for a team player who can also work well on their own with mínimal supervision. Has a strong background in holistic health, and customer service and is passionate about living and encouraging others to live their best life

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Greet customers.
- Advise and explain with care the products offered in store (supplements, cosmetics, certain food products).
- Make special orders and follow up with customers.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Verify expiration of products.
- Verify and place incoming merchandise in the proper location.
- Show initiative in introducing new product lines to customers.
- Take training and keep knowledge up to date.
- Any other related duties.

**DESIRED SKILLS**:

- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of natural products (supplements, vitamins, and minerals, phytotherapy, homeopathy, superfoods...)
- Knowledge of various common health problems.
- Good experience in customer service and sales.
- Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English with clients, peers, and management. And having a working knowledge of French is an asset.
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task.
- Attention to detail.
- A professional attitude and versatility.
- Ensure clients feel that they are in a safe environment.
- Comply with all the business rules, regulations, and policies.

**Registered or Licensed in your field of expertise.**

Up to date knowledge regarding holistic health trends and attaining optimal wellness.

Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

**LEVEL OF EDUCATION**

Certified Naturopath, member of ANPQ or College des Naturopath du Quebec

Training in herbalism, or homeopathy (optional).

**EXPERIENCE**

1 year.

**LANGUAGES SPOKEN**

English: Fluent

Indigenous Language: Kanien’Keha or another Indigenous language is an asset.

French: Working Knowledge
