**Go Industries** is looking for an ambitious and dedicated
** Electrical Journeyperson** who will be responsible for all electrical work including layout, installation, and repairs for our client’s commercial, industrial, and residential customers.
**The Opportunity.**
We are looking for an experienced full-time
**309 A Electrical Journeyperson **to join our prestigious heating and cooling client’s team. This is a full-time opportunity with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
**Qualifications**:
- 309A Electrician OR 4th year 309A Apprentice.
- Strong understanding of Ontario's electrical code.
- Valid Driver’s license with clean abstract.
- Able to work at multiple sites in Ontario Primarily in the Hamilton area.
- Experience working in other trades is a bonus. (HVAC/Plumbing/Renovations).
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.
- Sourcing or fabricating replacement electrical components.
- Pull wire through conduits and through holes in walls and floors.
- Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment.
- Install, replace, and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels.
- Splice, join, and connect the wire to fixtures and components to form circuits.
- Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of the system, following installation, replacement, or repair.
- Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty components.
- Connect electrical power to audio and visual communication equipment, signaling devices, and heating and cooling systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
