**Job Summary**
The Manager of People & Culture at GRIT Engineering Inc. is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and implementing human resource strategies that align with our corporate values of Respect, Integrity, and Teamwork. This position focuses on fostering a positive workplace culture, enhancing employee engagement, and driving organizational change. Additionally, the role includes a strong emphasis on health and safety to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support GRIT Engineering Inc.'s mission and objectives.
- Oversee budgeting for the HR, safety, and social committees, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Utilize data analysis skills to assess employee performance metrics and inform HR initiatives.
- Manage change management processes to facilitate smooth transitions during organizational changes.
- Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency within HR functions.
- Negotiate employment contracts and benefits packages to attract top talent.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations while fostering a positive employee relations environment.
- Develop and implement health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular health and safety audits and training sessions to promote awareness and compliance.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably as a Director or similar position.
- Demonstrated expertise in change management practices and process improvement methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are advantageous.
- Experience in developing and implementing health and safety programs is highly desirable.
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
