**Assistant Hydrovac Operator**

**Job Duties / Responsibilities**
- Perform routine maintenance &/or minor repairs on equipment as required.
- Be aware of & follow all local, provincial, and federal rules & regulations set out by CVSE & MVA.
- Assist in the operation of equipment safely & efficiently to meet deadlines & accomplish customer satisfaction.
- Completion of daily paperwork (timesheets, hazard assessments, etc.).
- Maintain open communication and work with people from all backgrounds, with different personalities, to establish and build relationships quickly and professionally.
- Observe & comply with all company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.

**Qualifications**
- Positive attitude, good values, and a competitive spirit.
- Valid BC Class 5 licence with your own reliable transportation to/from work.
- Willing to be on call during the week as well as occasional evenings & weekends.
- Must possess and exhibit a strong safety & environmental focus.
- Problem-solving skills along with a strong attention to detail and punctuality.
- Be a team player, show a strong work ethic, and work well on your own.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly.

**Salary Information**
- $25/hr Starting wage, depending on applicant's experience and attitude.
