**No veterinary experience required. **While this position does offer some schedule flexibility in choosing days or evenings, some Saturday shifts will be required.

**Job Title: Veterinary Cleaning Attendant**

**Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Veterinary Cleaning Attendant to join our team. The Veterinary Cleaning Attendant plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of our veterinary clinic, both lobby and treatment area ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our patients, clients, and staff.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine cleaning and disinfection of examination rooms, treatment areas, surgical suites, and other facility spaces according to established protocols and standards.
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal housing areas to prevent the spread of disease and maintain the health and well-being of our patients.
- Dispose of medical waste, used supplies, and biohazardous materials in accordance with regulatory guidelines and clinic policies.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure availability and effectiveness.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing and folding linens, towels, and bedding used for patient care.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to address special cleaning needs or specific infection control measures as required.
- Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients, visitors, and colleagues at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles, preferably in a healthcare or veterinary environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation principles, and infection control practices.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude when working as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
