Restoration Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Restoration Technicians to join our team who are passionate about using their skills to improve our clients' job sites after a disaster has struck.
The Restoration Technician will respond to emergency situations involving damage caused by water, fire, flood, soot, storm, mold, or trauma, as well as other emergency situations in homes and businesses.

**Duties**:

- Perform restoration activities, including demolition, cleaning, emergency flood service, restorative drying, fire and smoke damage cleaning and deodorization, content cleaning, pack-out and storage and other specialized cleaning.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to build, restore, and clean damaged structures and items.
- Repair and restore fire-damaged properties by removing debris, cleaning surfaces, and reconstructing damaged areas.
- Conduct mold remediation by removing mold-infested materials and ensuring proper cleanup procedures.
- Document all restoration activities accurately for record-keeping purposes.
- Setting up site protection, like the use of protective shoe covers and floor mats.
- Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and facilities.
- Ensuring work is completed according to supervisor's specifications.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in restoration or construction is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for restoration tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
- Must be able to work after hours (we are a 24/7 emergency service company)
- Must be available for scheduled "on-call" shifts
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (an asset)

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- restoration: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
