**Position: Guestroom Attendant (Housekeeping)**

This position plays a key role in the housekeeping department within the hotel, to serve our guests in a friendly and professional manner, and work as a team member to ensure all tasks are completed before a shift end. Our Housekeepers provide exceptional service and maintain the highest cleanliness standards throughout our guest rooms.

**Your Day To Day Duties**:

- Clean and sanitize all assigned rooms and bathrooms
- Follow the designated sequence of room assignments
- Replace all amenities and linens according to hotel standards
- Keep cart and linen closets clean and orderly
- Notify management of discrepancies such as vacant rooms, etc.
- Turn in lost and found items as per hotel standards
- Report items of value left unsecured in hallways and guestrooms
- Clean assigned rooms within shift time requirements, passing all inspections
- Clean spots on walls and carpets
- Complete special cleaning projects
- Anticipate guest needs, demonstrating sensitivity and responsiveness, ensuring complete guest satisfaction and repeat business
- Familiar/knowledgeable about the hotel and able to explain the locations and operating hours of hotel facilities
- Follow procedures when entering guest rooms, always keeping the guest’s need for privacy in mind
- Adhere to hotel cleaning policies and procedures to ensure professional appearance of hotel
- Perform all duties in a timely and professional manner
- Perform a visual inspection before leaving any areas
- Notify appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance
- Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow team members
- Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions
- Maintain cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area
- Comply with all Archive standards, policies and procedures at all times.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

**You have**:

- Service orientation
- Ability to work as part of a dynamic quality-driven team
- Basic English language skills
- Ability to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds repetitively during entire shift
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

**Special Requirements and Certifications**:

- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Ability to stand/walk during entire shift.
- Able to lift up to 25lbs
