Havelock Homes is looking to hire an experienced Renovation Carpenter to join our team. As a crucial member of our renovation crew, you will be responsible for executing various carpentry tasks. This role requires a combination of precision carpentry skills and the ability to work safely and efficiently. Primarily working in the Guelph and surrounding area, our team boasts 60 years of combined experience and reputable client relationships. Our business specializes in custom home builds, renovations and additions within the community. We pride ourselves in quality work and attention to detail, and are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our growing team.

**SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Able to perform a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, installing doors and windows, trim work, carpentry, drywall installation, cabinetry installation and taping.
- Safely operate hand and power tools necessary for both carpentry and demolition work.
- Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure timelines are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Proven experience as a renovation carpenter with a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials.
- Experience with demolition work and the ability to safely operate heavy equipment such as jackhammers and demolition saws.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $28.00-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
