**Who You Are**

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support our Finance and Accounting departments. You are great with numbers, love working on excel, and know how to do payroll and log accounting data on QuickBooks. Most importantly you have the attitude to learn new things and thrive in a diverse and high paced startup environment. You will report directly to the Head of Finance in day-to-day financials and be responsible for recording and tracking the financial transactions of our company.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Enter data, record day-to-day financial transactions, and maintain weekly records.
- Constantly verify that transactions are recorded in the correct way in QuickBooks Online.
- Create and send invoices to customers and reconcile Accounts Receivable.
- Maintain Accounts Payable updated and pay suppliers on a weekly basis.
- Bank and credit card reconciliations and perform periodic accounting adjustments as required.
- Update monthly schedules, such as depreciation, prepaid, vacation accrual, etc. and create reports and financial statements.
- Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support based on analysis.
- Assist in financial functions, such as yearly financial audits, assessing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidation, cost control and project control.
- Process and update payroll with provided relevant employee information T4s, T5s, ROEs.
- Submit payment to the government, such as payroll remittances and EHT.
- Calculate and ensure GST/HST is filed and paid quarterly.

**Your Knowledge, Experience, and Skills**:

- Proven work experience within Finance, Accounting, or relevant role.
- Adept with accounting software packages, like QuickBooks.
- Computer literacy (MS Excel).
- Functional understanding of Canada Revenue Agencies regulations and processes.
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Experience with RBC Express is an asset.
