Deca Instructor

_**Responsibility**_
- Prepare and create necessary material and lesson plans for each DECA lesson
- Deliver course curriculum in classroom and/or online settings
- Ensure student awareness of course objectives and accurate understanding of course material
- Provide suggestion of competitive events for each student based on their abilities and interests
- Provide feedback for students’ learning progress to department head and improve students’ learning experience
- Use of multimedia presentations and incorporating technology into the learning process where applicable
- Attending periodic faculty meetings
- Complete Student Progress Report
- Willingness to work in a fast growing school environment
- **Qualification**_
- Bachelor’s degree in process or completed in related major
- Experiences in participation in DECA competition; winning an award in the past is preferred
- Extensive knowledge on the regulation process, timeline, rules of DECA competition
- Strong communication and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent organization skills
- Available to work at evening and weekends
- Tutoring experience would be an asset, but not required
- Fluent in English
- experience in any case competition or model UN is an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $15.00-$60.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
