**Resort Cleaner**
- Spring Valley Resort, 7489 Sideroad 5 East, RR6, Mount Forest, ON_

Reporting to the Resort Manager and/or Maintenance Lead, the Resort Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning all facilities and community buildings, completing work orders in a timely fashion by following Resort Standard Operating Procedures.

- You have solid customer service and janitorial experience in a hospitality industry

**What you will be doing**:

- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of public and staff bathrooms, laundry facilities, showers, recreational hall, retail store, offices, and staff rooms
- Assist in monitoring cleaning supply inventories
- Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times
- Perform other related work as assigned
- Responsible for completing work orders in a timely manner
- Ensuring ongoing communication with the Resort Manager and/or Maintenance Manager
- Ensuring all resort activities are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner

**Education and/or Experience**:

- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Clean background/criminal check
- Janitorial experience preferred

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operational and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Be aware of and operate within the applicable Occupational Health and Safety Legislation Standards, Environmental Health and Safety Policies, and company Health and Safety policies at all times
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- “Can Do” positive attitude
- Ability to act on emergencies as directed by Maintenance Lead and/or Resort Manager
- Maintain a courteous, respectful, and efficient professional manner at all times

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Retention bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mount Forest, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
