Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and skillfully cut, trim, and prepare various cuts of meat according to customer preferences and specifications
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation are maintained in the cutting area, following food safety regulations and guidelines
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing meat products to maintain freshness and quality
- Operate and maintain butcher equipment and machinery, such as saws, grinders, and slicers, ensuring they are in proper working condition
- Provide exceptional customer service by offering advice on meat selection, cooking methods, and recipes
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production and maintain an organized and efficient workflow
- Keep accurate records of inventory, sales, and production data as required
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a butcher or in a similar role is essential
- Strong knowledge of meat cuts, preparation techniques, and butchery equipment
- Demonstrated expertise in cutting and trimming various types of meat, including beef, pork, poultry, and lamb
- Ability to work with precision and attention to detail, ensuring consistent portioning and presentation of products
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of meat products
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers
- Physical stamina and strength to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
**Salary**: $16.00-$26.26 per hour PAY IS COMPETITIVE

**Job Details**:

**Shift**:Monday - Friday Schedule. 8 hour shift. No weekends or nights.
**Experience**:Minimum of 30 hours at but can be higher if requested by management.
**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
