We are seeking individuals who have the determination to train, respond and represent the Banff Fire Department and the Town of Banff in the field and in the community.
Our department has an outstanding reputation of “Taking Care of Banff” by ensuring exceptional training and quick and attentive emergency response of its Firefighters. As members of the community, we give back by providing residents and visitors with education opportunities, charitable donations and a wide range of fire preparedness and prevention events and activities.
Applicants must demonstrate the following:
- Letter of support from your current employer
- Completion of grade 12 (or equivalent)
- Commit to weekly training with a minimum annual attendance record of 70%
- Provide a valid class 5 Alberta drivers licence and clear driver’s abstract
- RCMP Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector clearance
- Have a valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Be able to meet the physical demands
