We strive to help all animals big and small live vibrant, healthy, and long lives through a holistic and natural approach.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Responsibilities include**:

- Feeding the animals on the farm
- Mucking stalls, steaming hay, stacking hay, all daily chores required for the animals
- Grooming and husbandry of animals
- Hands on animal care (both large and small animals) including documenting any changes in their health, along with daily health log upkeep for the farm manager
- Daily remedy and medicinal needs for all animals
- General upkeep of the barn and farm (keeping areas tidy)
- Daily cleaning and maintenance of stalls and paddocks
- Helping in hay season everything from planting, and harvesting. Includes receiving and stacking of hay
- Experience that would also be beneficial:

- Small and large animal care
- Veterinary technician/assistant

A hard worker and understands that a career on a farm is a lifestyle that is not 9-5.

Some weeks on the farm 2 days off in a row is not possible for example if we are in holiday season to share time off, a sick or injured animal

A team player

Highly organized

Excellent communication skills

Flexible when it comes to scheduling

Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively

Ability to work under pressure and possess the flexibility and resiliency to switch gears in a moment’s notice, maintaining a professional and positive attitude

Available for on call emergencies including but not limited to weather, sick team members, or sick animals, etc

Animal experience is a must. Successful applicant must be reliable, grounded, mature, happy, KIND, resilient, and willing to learn a completely holistic approach.

Pay: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
