**Responsibilities**:
**1. Activity management**
- Establish priorities for the center
- Establish a daily action plan to manage incoming and outgoing volume
- Frequent and regular monitoring of daily operations to ensure that the daily action plan is executed by the staff -Develops and monitors warehouse rules
- Responsible for the health and safety of the Center
- Responsible for the management of customer inventories
- Be able to understand and plan for customer needs while ensuring the transfer of information/training with other team members training with other team members

**2. Performance and continuous improvement**
- Responsible for initiating and monitoring the continuous improvement of the center's activities;
- Develop key performance indicators (KPI) that are related but not limited to warehouse costs, productivity, equipment efficiency and others
- Develop KPI's related to but not limited to warehouse costs, productivity, equipment efficiency, etc;
- Analysis of data related to KPIs;
- Implement action plans to influence results and measure actions;
**3. Communication and follow-up**
- Communicate and follow up with the operations team and all shifts on goal achievement, operational progress and share general information.
- Organize and lead operational meetings;
- Work in close collaboration with the customer service and sales departments to plan the use of resources
- Work closely with customer service and sales to plan the use of resources: human, building, equipment;
- Communicate and follow up on the center's and company's objectives;
**4. Resource Management**
- Track performance and evaluate staff (use it as a tool to coach and motivate employees)

- Oversee the planning of staff vacations and vacations while ensuring business continuity
- Train, monitor, and update CT-PAT initiatives (e.g., yard access, loading)

**5. Financial Management**
- Approve and responsible for invoices related to the management of the center
- Responsible and follow up on expenses related to the center's operational budget
- Responsible for monitoring the management of the building
- Long term planning of needs (human, building, equipment)

**Skills & Abilities**
- Strong communication skills;
- Strong team management skills ;
- Experience in a supervisory position
- Strong knowledge of the Office suite
- Knowledge of AS400 (Asset) software
- Bilingualism essential
- Minimum 3 years experience in a transportation, logistics or environment;
- Minimum 3 years experience in a management position
- Proven leader and effective team player
- Knowledge of P&L financial management
- Ability to positively influence company culture
- Resolution of problems and initiative
- Analytical and systematic thinking;
- Ability to explicitly articulate how tasks and objectives are to be performed.
- Ability to recognize and anticipate problems;
