Superb Group Inc. is a dynamic snow removal and landscaping company located in Guelph, proudly serving Commercial, Industrial, and Condominium properties in Guelph, Kitchener/Waterloo, and Cambridge. We are committed to maintaining a positive, fun, and safe working environment, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Sidewalk Crew Supervisor to join our Snow Maintenance team.

This is an on-call, 24/7 contract position from November 15th, 2024 to April 15th, 2025. There is potential for multi-season employment for the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

**What You Will Be Doing**:

- Supervise and lead a team in the safe and efficient operation of snow removal equipment, including sidewalk tractors, snow rators, snow blowers, and hand shovels.
- Train employees.
- Ensure timely spreading of salt as required to maintain safe sidewalks.
- Oversee routine maintenance and cleaning of all equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to on-call assignments within 30 minutes, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Coordinate and assign specific routes to crew members, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate records and logs, including fuel usage, vehicle inspections, safety reports, and hours of service.
- Submit all necessary paperwork and documentation electronically and/or manually at the end of each shift.
- Drive truck and trailer.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

**What You Bring to the Team**:

- At least one year of supervisory experience in snow removal or a related field is an asset.
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be legally able to drive in Ontario.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on high-quality customer service and teamwork.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond quickly to emergency situations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
- Ability to work outdoors in cold temperatures and handle the physical demands of the job.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to efficiently manage and motivate a team.
- Proficiency with smartphones or tablets for submitting reports and documentation.

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
