**Role**: As a Tandoor Cook, you will play a key role in bringing the flavours of traditional tandoori cuisine to our patrons. Your expertise in working with the tandoor oven will contribute to the creation of mouthwatering dishes that showcase the rich heritage of Indian cuisine.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and marinate meats, vegetables, and other items for cooking in the tandoor oven.
- Skewer and arrange items on skewers or in the tandoor oven, ensuring even cooking and optimal flavour.
- Operate the tandoor oven with precision and skill to achieve the desired texture and flavour in dishes.
- Monitor cooking temperatures and adjust as needed to ensure consistent quality.
- Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and refine the tandoori section of the menu.
- Suggest creative and innovative tandoori dishes to enhance the culinary offerings.
- Ensure that all tandoori dishes meet established quality standards in terms of taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Conduct taste tests and make adjustments to recipes as necessary.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Communicate effectively with other chefs and kitchen personnel.
- Clean and maintain the tandoor oven and surrounding work area.
- Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Tandoor Cook or similar role, with expertise in tandoori cooking techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, marinating techniques, and tandoor oven operations.
- Creativity in developing new and appealing tandoori dishes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

In addition to the duties mentioned above and job functions, any other assignment is given on an occasional or daily basis by the immediate superior or the management.
