We have earned a strong reputation in the plastic injection molding industry by manufacturing technically challenging molds/parts and fully completed products.

Come and expand your skills in the field of injection mold manufacturing with PH Molds. You will participate in all aspects of production of injection molds and various tooling to meet customer requirements. You will also provide valuable feedback on new designs.

Commitment to further education programs such as mold maintenance, polishing techniques, basics of injection molding and basic CAD design.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that all tool room ISO processes are adhered to.
- Assists in the maintenance of tool room equipment.
- Mold insert changes.
- Operation of all CNC and manual equipment in the tool room such as CNC mill, CNC lathe, manual mill, manual lathe, radial arm drill, CNC EDM machine and grinders.
- CNC programming ability. 2D lathe, CNC EDM & 3D mill.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials, mold/jig building drawings and specifications for parts molds and prototypes.
- Production machining work.
- Various general machining work.
- Mold and jig repairs
- Various machining work for equipment repair.
- Manufacturing, modification of jigs, fixtures, and dies with or without full design drawings.
- Manufacturing and modification of molds from drawings.
- Communicate with customers for clarifications
- Troubleshooting jig, mold, and part issues
- Design jigs and parts in CAD
- Provide design input for new molds.
- Design jig and create full drawing packages
- Provide guidance and training of more junior tool makers
- Review work done by more junior tool makers
- Manufacturing prototypes
- 3D printing prototypes

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of machinists’ apprenticeship
- Tool & Die or Mold Making apprenticeship an asset
- 5+ years experience as a machinist
- Ability to operate various CNC and manual machining equipment
- Strong background in use of standard machine tool measurement tools
- Strong CAM skills, MasterCam
- Basic CAD skills, SolidWorks. Able to work with assemblies.
- Ability to work from sketches, drawings, or samples

Pay: $33.75-$40.50 per hour
